Happy February and Happy Super Bowl week! We won’t waste any of your time this morning. We will get right to it. FirstDown is continuing with our Empty formation installation in the red zone. We have released ten plays that are sure to answer the problems that a shorter field brings inside of the ten yard line for your 7 on 7 competition or your football team next fall.

Here we have one example that gives your quarterback a chance to work high lows to both sides with pylon throws to either side and two return routes underneath. This mirrored high low combination also gives your underneath receivers a chance to work vs man coverage as opposed to the normal static hitch. Teach the outside return routes that if they see pressure that makes the quarterback hot to keep coming inside for the quick throw.
