7v7 Flag Football Hook & Ladder
By FirstDown PlayBook on Sep 16, 2019

Is it called Hook and Lateral or Hook and Ladder? Depends on who you ask. Trust us when we say that you won’t come up with one answer if you do enough research. The important thing today is to know that FirstDown PlayBook is using this concept to get your Center involved in your flag football offense.

Some flag football leagues allow the Center to catch a pass while others do not. The great thing about this play is that it does not matter. On this play your Center can get the ball, yet he or she is  not the initial receiver.

At first glance this play may seem too complicated for your flag football team but a closer look will reveal otherwise. This play is a sum of it’s parts and the parts are all very fundamental. So whatever you call this play, consider using it to mix up your base flag football game plan and get your Center involved at the same time.

PLAY THAT COMES OFF OF AN ALL HOOK CONCEPT.
THIS PLAY BUILDS IN A LATERAL TO THE CENTER FROM THE Y.
***THIS PLAY CAN BE RUN WITH THE CENTER READING THE THROW FROM THE QB.
***IF THE QB THROWS TO THE F THE CENTER WOULD BREAK TO THAT SIDE.
***IF THE QB THROWS TO THE Y THE CENTER WOULD BREAK TO THAT SIDE.
