Green Blue Red Guides Your Young Flag Football QB
By FirstDown PlayBook on Jun 25, 2019

All of FirstDown PlayBook’s flag football plays are drawn in color and that’s pretty cool but there is more to it than that.  FirstDown PlayBook wants to teach progression reads and decisions with our flag football plays too so we have incorporated a three color system for you and your quarterback.

As your quarterback sees the play they will understand that their first read is always in green and the second read in the progression is in blue and the final progression is drawn in red. Some plays like the one we have here may have a potential alert built into another receiver. An alert means that if you like the one on one matchup then all bets are off and your QB can look for the home run shot to that receiver.

As with any FirstDown PlayBook play there are also coaching points and the ability to flip the flag football play and run it from a left handed formation. Our thoughts are that you can have fun and still teach football principles as you are doing it. Check out this short video to learn more about how there are hundreds of flag football plays waiting for you on the FirstDown PlayBook website.

FirstDown PlayBook is the only Digital Football PlayBook that gives you access to over thirty five thousand football plays, schemes and technique help all designed by coaches and players with NFL experience.
