Name Your Play. Now Find Your Play.
By FirstDown PlayBook on Jun 24, 2018

We are right in the thick of this year’s 7on7 football season and we can see where there are a lot of FirstDown PlayBook coaches taking advantage of our deep database of DropBack football plays each and every weekend.

Having so many 7on7 football plays can sometimes be a double edge sword for you, the coach and also for us here at FirstDown PlayBook if we are not careful.

For you, the challenge is to trim your 7on7 gameplan down to where it its manageable for you and your team. Football will never change in this regard. It is better to have fifteen football plays that you and your football team can run well than to have fifty that have little to no precision  and discipline applied to them.

For us, the challenge is to help you find those fifteen plays as quickly and easily as possible. FirstDown PlayBook has so many football plays because we know that your choice of football plays may and probably will be totally different than the next coach.

One of the ways we help you find and then get back to the football plays you have chosen for your team is by allowing you to name the football play what you want to call it. Then we provide you a search bar that makes it easy for you to go back at a later time and find that football play by the name you gave it.

This is a powerful tool as many of you are organizing your 7on7 playbooks so take a second to watch this short video. Trust us when we say this two minutes is going to save you hours later.

FirstDown PlayBook is the only Digital Football PlayBook that gives you access to over thirty three thousand football plays, schemes and technique help all designed by coaches and players with NFL experience. FirstDown Playbook is also the official PlayBook resource of USA Football and Football Canada..

On January 6, 2019 FirstDown PlayBook is going to hand the chalk back to you, the coach. You will finally have the capability of editing our database of plays, which should be pushing 40,000 by then, as well as create your own plays. Want it first and for less? Bang on the football to your left to learn how.
