Running Backs Route Tree Install
By FirstDown PlayBook on May 9, 2017

The FirstDown PlayBook route trees have been a lot of work. We have been grinding on them for the last two months. Today is an exciting day though. This makes it all worth it as we are adding your final route tree installation for 2017.

The running back route tree is probably the most underrated but can end up being the most important when you start trying to piece concepts together. Which side you get your running back out to and how you use him in protection can make all of the difference in the world to having a successful passing game.

Today we install our basic routes for the running back. One of the first things you will notice is that the running backs typically do not have a number attached to the route. The majority of the time the running back route is tagged with a word or a name.

As we finish up the 2017 route tree installation we remind you that we will add to this as we go into future years just like all of the other areas of FirstDown PlayBook. For now though, our FirstDown PlayBook route tree section should provide you with an outline for teaching basic routes that will be sure to help your 7on7 or your fall football team.

So come take a look at this short video to see where you can find the FirstDown PlayBook route tree section today!
