FirstDown PlayBook could not help but smile as we watched the University of Tennessee pull off that well executed trick play down in the red zone against Texas A&M on Saturday. As soon as the Josh Dobbs popped open in the end zone we knew the play looked really familiar. See, we had just drawn it up last month for our FirstDown PlayBook Varsity Tricks for 6 section!

Where did we get it? Well we saw Clemson run it against Ga Tech and obviously so did Butch Jones and his staff. Who knows? Clemson probably saw someone else run it before they did. It just goes to show that no one owns football plays. Once they are out there they are out there for public consumption and imitation is still they greatest form of flattery!
