Navy Runs For 395 Vs Army

By FirstDown PlayBook on Dec 16, 2019

Once again we were treated to an important slice of Americana this past Saturday. The annual Army Navy game was played in Philadelphia with all of decoration that makes it such a special game.

Although Army did a pretty good job of keeping it close early it seemed like Navy was the better team this year throughout the contest. The Navy run game was dominant throughout.

Navy quarterback Malcom Perry rolled up 305 of those yards himself. This was a rushing record for the Army Navy game. It also is the primary reason Navy walked off the field a 31-7 winner on Saturday.

FirstDown PlayBook will break down his first and longest touchdown of the day for this week’s All 22 Tuesday. This 55 yard touchdown came early in the second quarter as Army was actually still ahead in the game.
