Tonight 9:00 ET: Kickoff Coverage
By FirstDown PlayBook on Jun 1, 2020

Kickoff Return and Punt phases are in the books. We can’t tell you how happy we are here with the turnout for our Monday night Special Teams clinics. There has been a lot of feedback about how much our coaches appreciate that we get right to the ball. We don’t spend a lot of time on philosophy.

It is good that you like it because we are going to do it again tonight. Tonight we will get June started with Kickoff Coverage. If you are a defensive coordinator and you are not intently interested in Kickoff Coverage you are missing something. Mostly you are missing that extra 20 yards of field that you can’t defend because your opponents’ drives always seem to start near mid-field.

Tonight we will break down our thoughts on how to best teach Kickoff Coverage. We will break our teaching progression down into parts and show you how we would implement it into practice. Please look below for a general outline of what will be covered.

There is still time to sign up. Just click on any of the drawings and let us know you will be attending.
