USA Football Dev Coach Worth Your Eyeballs

By FirstDown PlayBook on Jan 4, 2019

One  of the points FirstDown PlayBook head coach Mike Singletary always makes to us is that the more ways you can teach a football player or show a football player what you are expecting of them the better it is for both of you.

This was on our mind as we watched this short but informative tweet by USA Football this week. Who would have thought that Twitter could be such an effective teaching tool for the game of football? In this short USA Football Dev video clip Kentucky Wesleyan’s Craig Yeast does a nice job of breaking down one of his core offensive plays when he was with Franklin college. It’s short, it’s to the point and it’s helpful to any football coach at any level.

What also jumped out to us was the power of integrating a video clip of a football play with a well designed football play drawing that the players actually would like to look at as they are leaning the game. Novel concept huh? That’s what FirstDown PlayBook is all about, giving you, the football coach, one more way to reach the young eye balls and minds you are trying to teach.

This tweet is a great example of how to get this done!

FirstDown PlayBook is the only Digital Football PlayBook that gives you access to over thirty five thousand football plays, schemes and technique help all designed by coaches and players with NFL experience. FirstDown Playbook is also the official PlayBook resource of USA Football and Football Canada..

On January 6, 2019 FirstDown PlayBook is going to hand the chalk back to you, the coach. You will finally have the capability of editing our database of plays, which should be pushing 40,000 by then, as well as create your own plays. Want it first and for less? Bang on the football to your left to learn how.
