What’s Your Football Play Perspective?

By FirstDown PlayBook on Feb 26, 2021

So what’s your football play perspective? One of the beautiful things about our game is how you can flip a play around and see it an entirely different way.

Dudes on Twitter make a living doing it. (A Twitter living anyway) That’s okay though. Once again that is why our game is so great. It’s chess not checkers. No football coach ever drew up a play or a defense or a special teams scheme thinking “Man, good chance this is going to blow up in our face.”

Mad scientist defensive coordinators draw up elaborate pressure schemes dreaming of a pressure-sack-fumble. Offensive line coaches scheme to pick that pressure up so the offensive coordinator can light up the secondary.

Here at FirstDown PlayBook we appreciate every and all football play perspectives when the ball is snapped. The most important is the one that comes through the face mask, often in a three point stance. That’s the hardest and most important perspective.

That’s why we make the essential football play and playbook teaching so easy and effective regardless of your football play perspective! Tap on the diagram below to learn more!
