You Choose The Player Size

By FirstDown PlayBook on Feb 21, 2021

When you begin to dig into FirstDown PlayBook for the first time you notice something almost immediately. There are different player sizes when you navigate between the different sections.

It’s very intentional. From day one here at FirstDown PlayBook we have made it our goal to serve all coaching communities. That means that every day we are focused on our NFL coaches and our flag football coaches working with six year olds.

When you start looking at these two ends of the spectrum and everyone in between it’s a big diverse group. That is why we give you the chalk last to choose the football plays you like and also edit those plays.

Personally we think that the younger players need football play diagrams with big bold players and color. Anyone who has tried to capture the attention of a fidgety eight year old understands.

When it comes to our older players we think the scale of the field is important. Routes need to be run at 12 yards and not eleven. Splits are important. This is why our Varsity football plays, defenses and special teams schemes are drawn to scale. Curious? Watch this video to learn more.

FirstDown PlayBook is the only Digital Football PlayBook that gives you access to over thirty five thousand football plays, schemes and technique help all designed by coaches and players with NFL experience. FirstDown PlayBook is also the Official Playbook of NAIA Football and NAIA Women’s Flag Football.
